CAREER TRAINING II – Tractor Trailer
Industry Tractor Trailer Training
Part Time: Saturday & Sunday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Full Time: monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
225 Hour Training Program
Meets Minimum Over the Road Carrier Program Requirements
for Entry Level Employment.
Classroom 96 Hours (12 Days):
Entry Level Driver/Permit Preparation, ELDT Hazardous Materials, Tank, Air Brake System, DOT Rules and Regulations, Log Books, Engines and Transmissions, Map Reading and Trip Planning.
Vehicle Training 129 Hours (16 Days):
6 speed and 10 speed Transmissions, Open Road & City Driving, Inspection, Uncouple and Couple, Straight Backing, Parallel Parking, Left Back, Right Back, Offset Backing, Alley Docking, Sliding Tandem Demonstration, Unloaded Trailers, All Road Test Procedures.
2 State Road Tests, Job Placement Assistance and School Certificate. Drug Screen and DOT Physical Exam included.

6-8 Weeks in Sequence for Full Time
14 Weekends in Sequence for Part Time
